Mop up entails detailed inspection of fire lines to be sure the ground is cold and fire perimeter is secure. On parts of the northeast and east fire perimeter, efforts were aimed at expanding and securing containment lines. Firefighters continued to strengthen lines around the spot fires in Holy Ghost Canyon and the cluster of spot fires on the east side of the fire.
