URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Albuquerque NM
252 PM MDT Sat Jun 9 2018

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH SUNDAY AFTERNOON UNTIL EARLY EVENING FOR THE
NORTHWEST HIGHLANDS AND PLATEAU, NORTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS AND
NORTHEAST HIGHLANDS DUE TO STRONG WIND AND LOW HUMIDITY...

.West and southwest winds will strengthen on Sunday as an upper
level trough passes north of New Mexico and a potent surface
trough develops in the lee of the southern Rockies. Widespread
critically low humidities will also develop as high temperatures
climb up to 9 degrees above normal and Haines values reach 6 in
most places. Super Haines is expected in the Jemez Mountains.
Winds will weaken with sunset, and the upper trough will exit the
region by Monday morning, easing these critical conditions.
Widespread poor humidity recovery is expected from the east slopes
of the central mountain chain westward Sunday night.
