JEREMY OEPPING – My name is Jeremy Oepping and I am volunteering to assist with the board. My wife Rebecca and I have lived in Sierra los Pinos for about two years now and love it! Quite the change from where we grew up in eastern Iowa. I work in Los Alamos in Human Resources and enjoy all the Jemez has to offer in my free time. Past experience includes being the treasurer for a small HOA back in Iowa for about four years.
GERALDINE BURNWORTH – Hello. I am currently running for the board secretary position to assist SLPPOA with some of the duties and tasks that are required to run this Association. I have lived in the scenic State of New Mexico most of my life. I enjoy hiking and reading for recreation, and spending quality time with my grandson whenever possible. .As secretary I would be contributing and volunteering my time to work with other volunteers toward maintaining and improving our community. We still need more volunteers!
Thank you, Geraldine Burnworth
CINDY HINES - Cindy moved to Sierra Los Pinos in the spring of 2016 and loves living in the neighborhood. She works full time for Los Alamos National Lab and enjoys the daily commute through the beautiful Jemez. Prior to moving to New Mexico, Cindy served as the executive director of a non-profit organization for seventeen years. The knowledge she attained during that time should be helpful as a board member of the Sierra Los Pinos property owners association. She has served on boards and commissions of several organizations including the Glenwood Springs Historic Preservation Commission, Colorado Mountain College Community Theatre board, Glenwood’s Downtown Farmer’s Market board and Los Alamos Light Opera.
Cindy would like the opportunity to serve on the SLPPOA board and work with other board members to come up with creative and positive solutions to issues that we face as a community, such as road maintenance, water conservation and delivery, website upgrades, trash service and other issues that may arise. She looks forward to working with current board members to learn the “hows” and “whys” of board functions and suggest ways to streamline processes and create efficiencies. She can offer assistance in the administrative realm, with budgets, newsletters, web design, as well as rules and regulations associated with being a non-profit organization. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
