We are fortunate to have this window of opportunity for the US Forest Service to implement this burn. It is designed to lessen the potential for fires south of SLP to spread in our direction. Also, be aware that smoke can exacerbate respiratory ailments, and take precautions as needed, such as doing outdoor work in the morning if possible when the smoke is not as close to the ground, and staying indoors and keeping windows closed when the smoke is heavy.
