Hello folks, Fire Managers are going to attempt to burn the slash piles on Virgin Mesa again. The last time you probably saw little or no smoke. The snow we received prior put a damper on ignitions. Today we are opening the road again to get up on the mesa and if there is enough time we may do some burning this afternoon. If all goes well, tomorrow there should be a significant amount of visible smoke. The ventilation category is predicted to be very good so smoke impacts to the communities should be minimal. Thanks!
