Jemez Helping Hands Quarterly Meeting

Jemez Helping Hands will hold their quarterly meeting on Monday, March 14, at 3:30 p.m. in the Village of Jemez Springs Conference Room. All are welcome to attend.

Items on the agenda include the design and publication of the new Jemez Helping Hands brochure and the possibility of installing the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) within the Jemez Helping Hands organization. SNAP is the largest program in the domestic hunger safety net and offers nutrition assistance to millions of eligible, low-income individuals and families.

Jemez Helping Hands is a nonprofit all-volunteer organization. Their primary purpose is to help people to become aware of the recourses and opportunities to help others in the Jemez Valley. They work with different individuals and agencies in order to deliver help to those in need.

Some of the services provided include: Food Pantry, Clothes Closet, Furniture & Appliances, Utility Assistance.
