Attached is a quick summary report, with material, costs, pictures, etc. of our recent pipe replacement activities.
SLPPOA SYSTEM 1 PIPE REPLACEMENT (1st 1000 ft) REPORT - 8/3/2016
In approximately 6 days SLPPOA has replaced the first of several planned main line sections of water piping. The area targeted covers from the intersection of Hovenweep and Mesa Verde/Bonito Way to near the intersection of Aztec. Installation, pressure testing, sanitization, purging and flushing has been completed.
Material used:
* 960 ft of 4 in C900 DR-18 gasket type pipe
* 3 ea. 4 in new isolation valves w/Mega Lug connections
* 6 ea.4 in elbows all connected with Mega Lug connections
* 2 ea. 4 in x 3 in tee fittings with Mega Lug connections
* 2 in freeze proof Flush Hydrant
* Metallic tracer tape placed along the entire length at 1-1.5 ft depth
Cost (to date):
* Material - $6,776.35
* Labor Contract - $8,691.25
* Total - $15,467.60
