Flood Advisory: Heavy Rains over Jaroso Burn Scar AT 12:31PM: An arroyo and small stream Flood Advisory was issued Monday by the National Weather Service in Albuquerque for the Northeastern Santa Fe County in North Central New Mexico, extreme West Central Mora County and extreme Northwestern San Miguel County in Northeast New Mexico until 2:30PM. AT 12:29PM MDT: National Weather Service doppler radar indicated heavy rain over the Jaroso Burn Scar in extreme West Central Mora County. Radar has indicated up to one quarter inch of rain has already fallen with locally higher amounts on the eastern portion of the burn scar. Additional thunderstorms were developing over the area, and up to one half inch of additional rainfall is possible. This will impact the Jaroso Burn Scar including but not limited to Jacks Creek, Panchuela Creek, Horsethief Creek, Beatty Creek, Rito Perro and areas downstream of the 2006 blowdown area.
