Cause: Lightning Aircraft: 1 helicopter Size: 7,902 acres based on infrared flight Injuries to Date: None Percent Contained: 0% General Information/Announcements: A public meeting will be held in Mora tonight at 6:00 p.m. at the Mora High School Lecture Hall. The Jaroso Fire is burning in the rugged, steep, deep canyons of the Pecos Wilderness. It is burning in mixed -conifer, heavy dead and down, woody material with pockets of bug-killed trees, and in an area approximately 1300-acres of blowdown from 2007.
