Next meeting: Wednesday Apr 18th, 2004

SLPPOA meeting. March 17, 2004

Attendees: Brian Reardon, Ann Cooke, David Garcia, Wendy Bisset, Karen, Taylor Donna Smith, and Kirk Thompson. Guests, John and Tricia Bootzin.

Called to order at 22 minutes after 7:00 pm. December and January minutes were moved to accept and seconded.

John and Tricia are buying the Gentry lot. They are paying all the back dues, etc, to SLPPOA. The house is 3 feet from the edge of the road easement within the setback. John asked for a variance to the covenants protecting subsequent owners from being asked to pick up the house and move it. The board and the Bootzin's agreed that the Bootzin's will draw a platte of the lot with all of the details regarding the back deck to be built and the rain-diversion roof over the front door that will be built, all in relation to the lot boundaries. They will deliver this drawing to Brian for architectural review.

Treasurer report. Wendy has initiated taxes for SLPPOA. 67% of members have paid annual dues. The rest are due by April 1 to avoid a late fee.

Water report. System 2 had a leak in February at the top of Cerro Pelado. It was fixed. System 1 currently has a leak somewhere near Hovenweep. Kirk and Don are currently working to find the location of the leak.

Roads, no report Architecture: a new greenhouse has been approved. New Business: There will be no parking signs posted at the Fire Station.
