Token Adams Special Release Friday September 6 2013 – 4:30 pm Information has surfaced regarding the search for missing firefighter Token Adams. A special news conference has been scheduled for 4:30 pm at the Jemez Pueblo Walatowa Visitor’s Center. Incident Commanders with the New Mexico State Police Search and Rescue and the Southwest Incident Management Team will be on hand to pass on this important information.

Last seen in the area of Holiday Mesa off Forest Service road 608 on Friday, 8/30/13. Mr. Adams was seen riding a red Polaris 400 ATV while investigating a possible fire start when he disappeared.

Commanders Join Forces to Search for Missing Firefighter in a Unified Command Press Conference Scheduled Today at 1:00pm at Incident Base Camp Thursday, September 5, 2013 – 10:00 am Yesterday at 6:00 am the Joe Reinarz Type 1 Southwest Incident Management Team joined forces with Dave Denali’s New Mexico State Police Search and Rescue Team to assist in search efforts for missing firefighter Token Adams. Under a unified command structure the Type I team and the New Mexico team will be able to combine local resources with national resources to aid in the search for Token Adams.

Search For Missing Firefighter Continues - Morning Update (Holiday Incident Search and Rescue)

Morning Update Missing Firefighter Search Continues Wednesday, September 4, 2013 – The search for Jemez Ranger District engine captain, Token Adams continues today. Token, who has been missing since Friday, August 30, has been the focus of an intense search effort by numerous Federal, State, County and local agency personnel as well as many volunteers throughout the holiday weekend. The family, fellow employees and the entire community of Jemez Springs have anxiously waited for the past five days in hopes that Token would be quickly found.
