As late as 3:00 am, the northeast slopes of Redondo Peak experienced downhill runs through the crowns of the trees.

Acres: 1,906 Start date: May 31, 2013 Cause: Under Investigation Location: 10 miles north of Jemez, NM on Hwy 4 Containment: None Fuels: Mixed conifer and Ponderosa pine Terrain: Steep, rugged Resources: 6 crews, 9 engines, 3 water tenders, 2 dozers Total personnel: 312 Available air support: 4 helicopters Summary: Today was a transition day from the Type 3 Incident Management Team to the Arizona Central West Zone Type 2 Team. There was moderate fire behavior on the fire today due to increased relative humidity and cloud cover.
